Arizona Student Film Festival

-Back-

This year for our class film, we took on the large project of Ancient Egypt!  We studied all about how the Pharaohs lived around 2400 BC. to 100 BC.  And then wrote a script and created a film that we call...."The Legend of King Cut Carrot Amun".  It is about an archaeologist and Time Travel inventor to go back in time to visit an unknown Pharaoh.  It teaches others all about what we learned.

We used a lot of green screen effects to put ourselves into ancient Egypt.  It was a humongous effort! Mr. Corkran even wrote the opening title music for it.  We won 1st Place K-8 Division at Arizona Student Film Festival. (Actually we won high school division!).  :)   They showed our film at the Phoenix Film Festival (Harkins Cine Capri Theater) in 2006 and in 2007 they played our film for the Best of 2006 category at the Arizona Student Film Festival.  They played our film at the Harkins Tempe Centerpointe Movie Theater.
