| In 6th grade we decided to forgo a
chapter test and make a movie about seed plants. The finished
film was a fun project and was a lot of fun. Mr. Ochsner
submitted the film to the 2005 i-Cademy and it won for "Best
Educator" short and "Best of Show". The film
was shown on April 7th at the Scottsdale Harkin's Cine Capri for the
Phoenix Film Festival. Mr. Ochsner received the "Copper
Wing" award (along with Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon and others.
. A few of the students also met up with Kevin Bacon at the Film
Festival too and saw some great documentary films. Now
for next year... The Cannes film festival? |
