Parents:
I am writing to introduce myself as Mr. Ochsner’s room parent.
We are looking forward to a great year and appreciate all those parents
who have already volunteered to help.
I
know how much your child and Mr. Ochsner will appreciate it to have you
involved. The following is a list of
occasions when we will need parent helpers:
Rainy
Day Helpers
– During the year we will need helpers in the children's classroom to oversee
lunch if it is raining. Lunch
is
11:10 – 11:50 a.m.
Library/Computer–
Will be at
2 pm
on Mondays.
If you would like to help in this area but have not signed up, please let
us know!
Field
Trips
–Please turn in your permission slips/deposit for the upcoming retreat.
Call me for volunteer
opportunities to hold banners at
Boston
Market at 60th & Greenway This is our fundraiser to help us with
Survivor Retreat costs. They will
donate a percentage of the proceeds from October 3rd, 10th,
17th, 24th from
4-9 pm
.
Art
Class
– Will be on Tuesday
8:15 am
. Please check with Felicia if
you would like to be a Parent Helper.
EM
- If you are a Eucharistic Minister and would like to serve our school, please
contact me regarding serving during 6B sponsored Mass.

– Will be on Wednesday at
8:15 a.m.

Our fall fun will be provided at the October
Fest on October 21st from
6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Mark your calendars – We
are asking parents to sign up for a 30 minute shift at the face painting booth.
Please e-mail and let me know which shift you would like
starting at
6:30
until
9:30
(clean up).
Just as a follow up to other notices – all helpers are required to have
a completion certificate filed with the front office showing attendance of the
Called to Protect Seminar.
